Enroll now in “Iambic Fundamentals: Understanding Shakespeare’s Verse and How to Use It,” instructed by veteran Kansas City and HASF actor Robert Gibby Brand. Topics covered will include:

• What is scansion? Discuss the “normal” rhythmic pattern and its variations
• Verse line as aesthetic unit; word compression and expansion
• Short lines and the acting opportunities they offer
• Pronunciation, inflection and melody

Class for actors and non-actors ges 16 and up.
Class will be held over Zoom and will require internet access and appropriate device. Students will also need access to William Shakespeare's Complete Works.
